I have to apologize; it’s been a while since my last journal entry on my blog. I’ve had a rough 3 months.
On Friday I went to get my treatment at the Cancer Center in Fort Worth. Most of you that know me…know I love creative artistic things. Much to my surprise when I walked into the building, I thought I was walking into a very unique art museum instead of the usual dooms day building I go to get my treatments.
All over the walls hung these displays of art from patients with breast cancer with a little story about that particular person. It was very UPLIFTING (pun definitely intended) indeed. LOL!
As far as my treatments go….I’m in for a rough month. My doctor’s decided to give me 4 treatments in a row weekly as opposed to only two treatments over a couple of months. I posted a story about the way the Behcets’ cells regenerate (much like cancer cells do) and my theory about the amount of drug given in order to kill off more cells. Apparently, my doctor’s have the same theory and thoughts I do about how to approach this disease from this point forward. So the plan is to dose me with as much as they can to kill off more cells in hopes to knock down the disease. I just hope this will be the answer and the amount of medicine I need to get this under control.

I LOVE the bra art! So cute and creative. I think I'll decorate one of my bras and then wear it all beaded and everything. I'll feel like I'm on the victoria's secret runway.....
I'm so sorry you've had a rough couple of months! I hope this next round of treatment helps!
Love you tons!
