Remembering 911

Old Battleship on the Mississippi River

I took this photo while riding in the car…it’s amazing what you can capture while riding in the car. I would love to actually visit this battleship and I love the American Flags blowing steadily and consistently through the wind. Consistency is important in any type of battle.

This blog is dedicated to those that lost their lives in 911 and to the troops and their loved ones who are still fighting. My prayers and thoughts are with you this day and forever. Go America!

Quotes:

The Repulican Perspective:

The art of war is simple enough. Find out where your enemy is. Get at him as soon as you can. Strike him as hard as you can, and keep moving. Ulysses S Grant

It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it. General Douglas MacArthur

The Democratic Perspective:

All they that take the sword, shall perish with the sword. The Bible..Matthew

War does not determine who is right - only who is left. Bertrand Russell

I happen to agree with all of these quotes.

Dear Parents,

Now Playing - Lions for Lambs

In remembrance and to educate our daughter Brittnee, each year when this week rolls around we try to watch a 911 movie. Last year we watched the The World Trade Center and the Year Before that we watched Flight 93 .

Hey Jenece! I like this post. I awlays think about 911 around this time of year - ever year... I haven't had the heart to watch shows about it yet though. But I've noticed that there are alot of shows on tv about it right now. It's cool that you watch them w/ Whitney for history sake. That's a good idea. Maybe it's time I watch one of them and watch it w/ my kids - at least the older ones...

I like all your side stuff on your blog. It's cute what you said about Mike, the love of your life. Your so cute!

It's funny because yesterday morning was pic day for Brittnee at school and she wore this t-shirt that said..Love and Peace. She was so excited to wear it and make conversation about 911. She was the one this morning reminding me how we have watched these movies the past two years and I thought..what a wonderful idea to share with others. Great family and education time. When Christmas rolls around, I'm the same with that. We watch a Christmas movie everday to get us in the spirit...not that I need it but It's fun to make it a goal and to help your family come together. It's a little harder at Christmas time to do this. But that idea was born from when Brittnee was just a little girl and I would read to her..during Christmas I would get these Christmas books and read a different story each night.

Love you,
Jenece

Hi Jenece, just wanted to say thanks for visiting my blog and sharing your views in such a great way...I have had people say not-so-nice things when they have a different point of view, but I love that you shared without the rudeness. Also, I did look at your daughter's pics and wow, is she beautiful! Anyway, I plan on looking through your blog, I am interested in your 'story' and as a photographer I really love your pics and would like to know what kinds of effects you are using on them, they're great! Thanks again!

Thanks Tracey, she is our "Super Star!" We only have one daughter because of the problems I've encountered with this disease.

I checked out your blog as well and left several comments.

I'm very honored that you like my photos. Thank you for your comments. I hope you don't mind me asking, what do you do with your photos? Do you just keep them to add to your portfolio or do you actually sale them? You have taken some great photos, I enjoyed viewing them.

About Behcets, how long have you been sick with Behcets and how do you cope?
